This year, ConDoor Door Solutions is launching a very special product: the Meridian Pass Door. This extremely well-insulated pass door is the perfect addition to a T40 ISO or T80 ISO sectional door. Due to its thermal break, the pass door ensures energy savings and comfort in every season and climate.
External clamping hinge
Large opening angle, good insulation
The external clamping hinge not only provides a 120-degree opening angle but also ensures better water sealing and insulation. Since the hinge is visible, we wanted to ensure that it contributes to the door’s aesthetic appeal. Therefore, we opted for a sleek design with concealed fastening.
Clever innovations
Very good insulation value, and wind and water resistance class 3*.
While in the past, a Pass Door could significantly effect a door’s insulation values, this is not the case with the Meridian. Due to complete thermal break and several clever innovations, it achieves a very good insulation value, and wind and water resistance class 3*.
Among other things, brand new rain profiles, sloping thresholds, door hinges, insulated door profiles, and plastic panel transitions have been developed. All these efforts are aimed at achieving the highest possible wind and water resistance class and insulation value. The Meridian Pass Door has been redesigned from the ground up to achieve these goals.

Water resistance class 3*
Water drainage
Water drainage was one of our main focal points in the development of this Pass Door. We spared no effort to make the door as watertight as possible, and we are very proud to have achieved water resistance class 3*.
We achieved this water resistance class by ensuring that all developed components for the pass door prevent water ingress and facilitate the drainage of any water that manages to enter. Take, for example, the plastic panel transitions. These repel incoming water, and if any water does manage to enter, it is collected in a small reservoir in the panel transition and then drained outside the door.
Additionally, we designed the newly developed threshold to slope downward and equipped it with multiple components to capture and drain water. Every effort was made to keep water out.

Patent pending
We are so proud of several innovations for the Meridian Pass Door that we have decided to apply for patents. A patent application is pending for our water solutions: the panel transitions and the combination of the sloping threshold and the associated water-draining plastic components.
Additionally, we have applied for a patent on the newly developed hinges and their method of attachment.
