A team of designers and technical professionals has therefore worked long to make CND2 possible: a control box designed for the future. A sleek appearance for the end user, a safe door for the dealer, and an advanced but easy installation for the technician.

With this mindset, our designers got to work, resulting in a contemporary control box for any building. Four fresh colors, an HD display, and concealed cables elevate every sectional door to a higher level.
Installation has never been easier
Easy installation. The technician is at the forefront of the Pro-Line CND2. In an era where the use of touchscreens is integrated in everyday life, most control units were still equipped with old fashioned displays. It was high time that technicians could easily install control units using a touchscreen and an intuitive User Interface.
Variable speed. One of the most important functionalities of the Pro-Line CND2 is the variable speed. Adding variable speed gives you the option to let your doors run smoothly and safe. Integrate a soft-start and soft-stop feature into your door, and implement your Safety Zone — a designated area where the door operates at a safe pace, enhancing safety measures.

Informative data display
Although the end customer cannot utilize the touchscreen, the screen is indeed advantageous for them. The technician can configure the screen to display useful information, such as door activity, average open or closed time and inside and outside temperature. These data promote awareness of energy consumption.
The display’s User Interface will be completely dealer branded. This means dealer logos and colors will be used to make it their own. Furthermore, the screen facilitates contact between the end customer and the dealer, providing direct access to contact information or scanning a QR code for dealer information.
The insightful data is not only useful for the end user but also enables the dealer to better serve customers and stay informed about the door status. Additionally, the screen makes service communication easier by displaying error messages and advisory notifications, such as maintenance recommendations after a certain number of cycles.
The dealer also benefits from having all their necessary contact information integrated into the User Interface, encouraging the end customer to keep maintenance with the dealer.

Safety zone ®
By completing your door with a Pro-Line CND2 control system, a door also becomes significantly safer. This is due to the creation of a Safety Zone. Because the operator is specifically built for sectional doors, it understands the door inside and out. Because of its unique software, the CND2 control unit always knows the door’s precise position. Therefore, the door also knows when the Safety Zone is reached: the distance from the ground where the door should close at a safe pace.

Ease of installation
The technician may have been the most crucial target audience when designing the Pro-Line CND2. We aim for an operator that is so easy to install that a technician won’t want anything else.
For instance, the focus is on installation. With a touchscreen, a technician can easily configure the door settings. A smart wizard guides the technician through the initial installation process, laying the foundation for a well-functioning door. The technician can then choose to leave it at that or add their own input. They can leave their fingerprint on the perfect door through advanced settings.
The design of the control unit also makes installation easy. The box’s lid can be flipped open to the left or right using a bracket, providing enough space for installation. Inside the cabinet extra space is available for neatly hiding wiring.
The wiring is very recognizable for technicians. All the wires are color-coded, as they were on our Pro-Line CND1 unit. Another huge advantage of CND2 is the 230V connection. There will never be a need for a 400V connection to control the door again. It’s the ultimate convenience for installation. The motor itself will remain the same as with the CND1 but will be rewired from 3x400V to 3x230V.
